Happy New Year! “The box is rusty but the tool is still good!”

Ok so how did it all go down for you?  Let me know because I was home with one nasty ass flu.  But in spite of it, the evening was still one of the nicest I’d ever spent.  Thanks to one great partner.

So project for you! Let me know what you did  on your New Years Eve and your name will go into a draw for a prize that will be announced next Sunday Jan 9th 2011.

All posts must be made on the remarks place on this blog to be counted!

I do have to tell you the best remark I heard all season with regards to Christmas presents past  was “The box is rusty but the tool is still good” My Dad referring to a big old tool box and tools he received from Mom on Christmas 1982.  It was meant to be a complement and came out embarrassing my mom right into 2012.  The entire dinner table was on the floor and I knew right then and there this was my most favourite Christmas spent with family ever!

Well Here is to another Year and to all those rusty box’s and workable tools!

Happy New Year!

About Bruce in the City

I have been writing my blog since 2010. I was inspired to do so after enjoying an amazing meal with some friends of mine here in Toronto. I decided to tell everyone about my great night and the fabulous restaurant I went to and shazam my blog was born!
