Hey all! It’s Erik F and I’m back! Happy Valentine’s Day! Got some great wines for that special someone or just for yourself 🙂
Gérard Bertrand Côte des Roses Rosé 2015, France – $18.95
This is probably one of the most iconic Valentine’s Day wines. The bottle is in the shape of a rose for gods sake haha, but it is certainly delicious. The wine is made up of 3 grapes: Grenache, Cinsault, and Syrah and the colour is a nice pale pink. This is a dry rose and it has very lovely aromatics and has some complexity. Bright and crispy and just a joy to drink.
Beringer Knights Valley, California – $39.95
Here’s a beautiful red if your willing to pay a little more for it. This wine has a beautiful complex aroma of blackberry , cherry, cassis, smoke, vanilla, and coconut. On the palate the wine is dry but has nice juicy berry and balanced acidity. Very smooth and bright
