Hi! I’m Erik and I will be bringing to you guys all sorts of wine reviews the first Wednesday of every month! Right here on Bruce in the City. I will be reviewing wines with good value, wines with great ratings, and wines that are just so good you will need more than just one bottle of it!

This wine i am reviewing today is a red blend of Touriga Nacional, Trincadeira, and Aragonez and is from the beautiful fields of poppies in Portugal. This wine contains some of those floral notes on the nose and is bursting with ripe fruit and juicy berries. On the palette it has good structure, high acidity and sweet tannins, giving this wine good structure and a full body giving this wine an aging potential of another year or two. Pair this red with a burger or some BBQ meats and you will be rockin! Price for this wine is $13.95 in LCBO Vintage section.

About Bruce in the City

I have been writing my blog since 2010. I was inspired to do so after enjoying an amazing meal with some friends of mine here in Toronto. I decided to tell everyone about my great night and the fabulous restaurant I went to and shazam my blog was born!
