So this month, since the weather was getting better, I decided to do some nice refreshing white wines! Now I didn’t want to choose between sweet and dry because I love all wines and I want everyone to explore different wines so I did one of each. The first wine is a sweet sparkling from Italy and the second is a dry white from Chile. Please enjoy!
Vietti Moscato d’Asti 2014 – Piedmont Italy
The grapes are selected from vineyards on the Vietti estate located in Castiglione Tinella. The grapes come from vines that are almost 40 years old. This wine has aromas of melon, peach, pineapple, and rose. The wine is sweet with high acidity to balance it out, has nice creamy bubbles, and a refreshing fruit forward taste. The wine would pair well with Spicy sushi, fruit salad, or even a light cheese cake! Enjoy in the warm sun or have a romantic evening on the porch!
Errazuriz Estate Chardonnay – Aconcagua, Chile
This winery is one of the top producing wineries in Chile and has been recognized by many for its exceptional quality with the most natural techniques. This wine is a great example of the wines this estate produces with amazing quality and a great value price. This has aromas of pineapple and vanilla with high acidity, a full body, dry. Pairs well with salmon, lemon chicken, or a creamy pasta. Enjoy out in the backyard with some BBQ chicken or salmon!
